I grew up in Potomac and still live here today, in the home I grew up in. In high school I wanted to be a star. When I was not in class I was singing and acting in shows. I made it all the way to the University of Maryland to study radio, TV, and film, and worked for a semester as an intern at NBC.
At the same time, I was living in a townhome my father had purchased in College Park. When Dad bought another house he asked for my help managing it—collecting rent, paying the bills, etc. This was my first experience in real estate, and I knew right away that this was what I wanted to do.
Right after college I got licensed and began my real estate career, selling homes and managing rental properties. 24 years later, here I am, still listing and selling and meeting many wonderful people along the way—including the love of my life, my husband Leon. We have two children—Sam and Jackie, who both attended Churchill High School, performing on the same stage that I performed on.
I am now an Owner/Agent at NextHome Envision. In 2019, my husband Leon Nasar and I went on a mission to bring the best brokerage to the Washington, DC area. It took time to make certain we had the right partner and we are so excited about the decision we made. Without question this is the best real estate company in the nation. We are doing things no one else is doing with technology and most importantly, we have not forgotten about the human element of this business.
If you plan to downsize, upgrade, or buy a second home, please think of me. I look forward to helping you with any of your real estate needs. I may even entertain you with a show tune along the way.
"We couldn't be happier with our experience with Lisa. She navigated us through the maze of both selling our house (of 22 years) in Kensington and downsizing to a new house in Bethesda. Through the entire process she was knowledgeable, honest, supportive and patient...and occasionally managed to make us laugh! Her positive attitude and unvarying energy made the situation as painless as possible. We highly recommend her."
-Maggie & Al,
"Lisa has her finger on the pulse of the local residential market. She counseled us to sell our first home, a cute Cape Cod in Bethesda, at the perfect time, ensuring multiple offers and an excellent profit margin. Then, she found us a classic colonial in Potomac, close to schools, shopping and everything we needed. She is detail-oriented, personable and a terrific negotiator. You're in great hands with Lisa as your Realtor! "
-Alyson and Josh,
"Lisa has helped me navigate two home purchases and two home sales. Her knowledge, not only of the DC area but also of the real value of ‘location’ and how to see a home’s potential, were invaluable to me. During the purchase of my first home, Lisa listened to my long list of “wants" and helped me weed through a lot of options to find the perfect condo. Whenever I have a question about real estate, she is expert I turn to. She is so helpful, trusted and positive, that my mother and sister have also worked with her. "

THE NICEST THINGS...
"In 2012, we bought our first house with Lisa as our agent. I'll always remember that when we started our search and told her what we wanted, she predicted where we would end up. Even though we didn't want to look there at first, it turns out... she was right! We had such a great experience that when we began to think about moving, she was the first person we contacted. This was our first experience selling and buying at the same time, and Lisa was a great resource. We knew she would get the job done - and she did! She's friendly, fun, approachable and very responsive. We definitely recommend her for your home buying or selling needs!"

"We recently faced a difficult time having to sell our parents’ home they had lived in for almost 4 decades! Selling the home would be an emotional experience but it was also at a time of dealing with our mother in hospice care. We relied on Lisa for so many parts of this difficult deal. The home needed some serious fixing up to get ready to sell and she helped all along the way. This entailed finding the right workers to handle everything from electrical to concrete to tile to paint and more. Lisa helped us find these people and navigate the various schedules involved in fixing up the home. Lisa also had to properly handle a variety of emotions from multiple family members. We had different views on everything from what color to paint the walls to what needed to be fixed to how to empty out the home and even pricing. In all aspects Lisa helped us through with humor and grace. Lisa successfully sold the home and even had to help us through a trying closing as my mother unfortunately did not make it. She even had the class to attend the funeral! Suffice to say – Lisa is forever our agent!"
